Hearthlight is a pixel-art life-and-adventure game set in Marigold Cove, a seaside town with a striped lighthouse throwing its beam across the grass. It tells its story in ten chapters with eight heroes to choose from. The standout is Party Mode, where up to eight people join using their phones as controllers, which could make it a good pick for a couch evening. It's labelled a demo and the world is procedurally generated, so expect rough edges, but the title screen alone shows more care for the art than most free browser games.
